Oyo State Launches Digital Soil Testing in 100 Communities to Boost Crop Yields

Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development yesterday 15th August, 2024 begins Digital Soil Test in 100 Communities of the state as part of it’s continues efforts to enhance improved yield crops and boost food security in the State.
The Commissioner for the ministry, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye while flagging off the exercise at Iseyin/Otiri farm settlement said the programme which was in collaboration with OCP Africa is to ensure farmers are to thought on the new method of farming by knowing types of crops to be planted on thee tested soil and by this will enhance improved yield of their crops.
